Columbia Mom EATS :: Granby Grill

If you are looking for a locally-owned place to grab some delicious food and enjoy a relaxed atmosphere then check out Granby Grill!

Granby Grill offers a wide selection of beers, burgers, and really good fried foods.

So … full disclosure, the owner is my cousin. He opened this place right at the start of the pandemic, and he and his family have really worked hard on this place. And it is something special!

Recently I met some other family members there for the first time and it did not disappoint! Granby Grill has a very relaxed, but fun, vibe and the whole family is welcome. Vintage lamps, chairs, and cool art give a funky and charming feel to the space, which also has several fun pinball machines and a spacious patio, which hosts live music regularly.

So here’s what I sampled: a side salad, “fish nuggets,” and hand-cut fries. First of all, the side salad was quite large with fresh veggies on top. Had I known how large it was going to be I would have ordered fewer items! The fish nuggets were some of the best fried fish I have tasted. Everything on the menu that is fried is hand-battered and seasoned well. The fries were crisp and delicious. I look forward to returning to try more of the menu, specifically the burgers.

Granby Grill is located at 612 Whaley St. (Unit C) in Granby & Olympia Mills
