Columbia Mom EATS :: Piecewise Coffee Co.

During these, um… CAFFEINE REQUIRING times, supporting local coffee shops is more important than ever. One of my personal favorites is Piecewise Coffee Co. Located on State Street just across the river from downtown Columbia, they have been slinging some of the best drinks in town for about a year now. Owned by a husband and wife team, supporting Piecewise is truly supporting local families!

The space is spotless, the to-go set up is flawless (they even have their own app for effortless ordering!), and the kind staff have generously brought a steaming hot Cubano to my car window on more than one occasion when I didn’t want to bring a busy five-year-old into the shop. They also serve the best pastries in town from another local favorite, smallSUGAR.

Lately, my go-to drinks have been the mint lavender lemonade and the smoked maple bourbon latte that will make you go, “pumpkin spice who??”
