I’m a local Columbia mom who turned a home cooking hobby into a small business called back burner meals. I strive to help families create a reliable rhythm when it comes to cooking dinner, lunches and other meals. Each week we send out an email with five seasonal dishes to make the following week as well as a grocery list. These are recipes I have cooked in my home for my family and know you will love them too. Cooking with seasonal ingredients will make your meals healthier, reduce food waste, and also get you out of a cooking rut. Would love for you to give us a try! Email or call me if you have any questions. Thanks!

Let’s get a couple of things out of the way. Publico Kitchen & Tap is not your average restaurant. It’s not your average neighborhood bar. Instead, it’s something entirely new and different: a hip new Five Points restaurant featuring Lat-Asian cuisine, 54 taps including over 45 craft beers, wine on tap, sake on tap, house cocktails on tap & mead!  We also have an AWESOME patio with plenty of space for you to enjoy it all!

You’ll see how different we are when you first walk inside. We encourage you to be creative with our space. Are you here with a date? Grab one of our small, intimate tables and let the world shrink to just the two of you. Have you come in with some friends? Push a few tables together to make room for everyone. Start your night off with a cold local brew and some chips and guac and then try a few of our fusion tacos.

Publico is your restaurant. It’s your night. Do what you want, and above all, enjoy yourself.
