A tale within a tale, Sheherezade narrates the exciting story of Aladdin and the powerful Genie in CMT’s popular show. A shady Sorcerer tricks innocent young Aladdin into stealing a magical lamp. The tables turn however, when Aladdin befriends the powerful Genie trapped within. When the Sorcerer seeks revenge, the pair must enlist the help of Princess Amira and her pet tiger to defeat him. But will Sheherezade’s tale win over the ruthless Sultan who holds her prisoner? The epic tale is brought to life by a unique combination of carved wooden marionettes and scrolling shadow puppets.
