Storytime in the Garden: Hampton-Preston Gardens

Meet us in the Hampton-Preston Gardens to celebrate Read Across America Day with stories, songs and an activity led by Richland Library and Historic Columbia staff!
Good to know before you go:
- We will provide a quilt for you and your family.
- You are also welcome to bring camping/folding chairs or your own quilts. Consider bringing sunglasses, sun hats, sunscreen or bug spray–whatever makes you feel most comfortable.
- Snacks and water are welcome.
- Hampton-Preston Gardens are located at 1615 Blanding Street | Columbia, SC 29201. The gardens are accessible for strollers and mobility devices.
- Free parking is available on Blanding and other surrounding streets. Metered parking should be clearly marked.
Registration is required for this event.
