Helpful Hints and Information:
What should I bring with me?
We encourage you to bring a bucket (or some other type of container) to bring your sunflower home. When you cut your sunflower, we will put the flower into a bag filled with water, so a container is very helpful in ensuring that your beautiful flower makes it home safe and dry.
What should I wear?
The sunflower field is an uneven surface, which you will be walking on – so, we suggest footwear that is appropriate for a field/sand. As for clothing, just keep in mind that it may be hot and you may get a little dirty, but it’s well worth it!
What about the weather?
These weekends take place rain or shine!
What should I NOT bring with me?
Please do not bring: coolers, food or pets. We love all animals (we have a lot!), but we cannot allow any outside animal onto the farm. So, just leave all dogs, cats, goats, etc. at home! 🙂
Anything else I should know?
Sunflowers are just like any other crop, so therefore, they are subject to Mother Nature and the growing conditions she gives us. We can’t guarantee that the flowers will be in bloom on the stated dates, so we ask that you prepare to be flexible and follow us on Facebook and Instagram (clintonseasefarmllc) so that you can stay up-to-date on conditions.
