Over the past several years, a new trend has taken over nationwide – trunk or treats and trick or treating activities! Halloween isn’t just about going door to door for candy anymore!
The premise behind trunk or treats is simple – organizations, like churches and local businesses, band together and decorate the trunk of their vehicles in their best Halloween and spooky decor and hand out candy to children as an alternative to traditional trick or treating. Many people see this as a “safer” form of trick or treating as you’re not going up to strangers’ houses and it keeps the festivities centralized to avoid boredom.
In addition, many trunk or treats and trick or treating activities host games, bounce houses, music, food and more! It’s truly a fun time to remember and the best part is they aren’t just limited to October 31! With this in mind, take a look at the list below and make plans to visit some of fun and exciting activities offered around town!
Boo at the Zoo
