Omni Dallas Hotel: Perfect Vacation Destination {Giveaway}

Last October, I had the opportunity to gather with more than 60 women from around the country at the Omni Dallas for our annual City Moms Blog Network Sister Site Conference. Throughout my stay, I was continually wowed by what an incredible hotel the Omni is – from breathtaking views to top notch accommodations and convenient location, there is truly something for everyone.

Luxurious Property

The Omni Dallas is absolutely beautiful! From the moment I pulled up, I was impressed with the spacious, modern lobby – which included a cozy fireplace you could sit next to, as well as comfortable seating perfect for catching up with a friend, enjoying time with your family, or working on your laptop. After I checked in and entered my room, I was blown away by the beautiful views of downtown Dallas you can see from your very own full length window!

I especially enjoyed the comfy beds and overall cleanliness of the room. But the real added bonus was the television built in to the mirror in the bathroom – talk about luxury! I could easily catch up on the latest news while getting ready each morning, which I especially appreciated since it was the weekend of the SC Flood and I very much wanted to stay in touch with what was happening back home.

The overall property has so much to offer, from several restaurants with different cuisine, to boutique stores where you can purchase unique and everyday items, as well a heated infinity swimming pool and full-service Mokara Spa. I even found myself needing to find a UPS store and guess what, there was one inside the Omni! You truly never have to leave, and that was okay with me!

Accommodating Staff

Ranked “Highest in Guest Satisfaction Among Upper Upscale Hotel Chains,” the Omni staff went above and beyond my expectations on every level. Case in point: You can imagine my dismay when I found out all flights into Columbia on the day I was checking out were canceled due to the flood. I explained my situation to the staff and they were extremely sympathetic and accommodating, going above and beyond to secure me an additional night’s stay at 1/3 of their normal rate. And as much as I hated being away from my family another night, there was no better place to be stranded than the Omni! I kicked back in my room in one of their comfy robes, ordered room service, took a long hot shower and stayed up to date with everything happening back home.

Perfect Destination for the Family

The Omni Dallas is situated right in the heart of downtown close to many of the area’s hottest attractions, including the Dallas Museum of Art, Dallas World Aquarium, Perot Museum of Nature and Science, Klyde Warren Park, and the American Airlines Center, as well as lots of shopping.

While I had an incredible time on my own, I couldn’t help but think about how the Omni Dallas would be a great vacation destination for the family. They offer fun perks like a backpack for your children upon check-in filled to the brim with games and snacks, as well as yummy chocolate chip cookies for kids delivered to your room on your first night at the hotel! And that TV in the mirror in the bathroom? My son would get a kick out of watching Paw Patrol while taking his nightly bath.
