Cord Blood Registry®

CBR Pregnancy Guide

Your baby’s umbilical cord is made up of tissue and contains blood. Both cord blood and cord tissue are rich sources of powerful stem cells. Cord blood stem cells are currently used in transplant medicine to regenerate healthy blood and immune systems. These cells are being researched for their ability to act like our body’s own personal repair kit and may be able to help our bodies heal in new ways. Cbr® is the world’s largest and most experienced newborn stem cell company. Since 1992, families have entrusted Cbr® to store more than 900,000 cord blood and cord tissue samples.

Healthy Roots Chiropractic

Healthy Roots Chiropractic is a pediatric, prenatal, and family chiropractic practice. We recognize the preparation your body undergoes for pregnancy. Weight gain and lack of balance are two of the most common changes associated with pregnancy. Your back can curve as a result of the imbalance of weight which puts abnormal pressure on your hips. Commonly overlooked through the stressful times of pregnancy, chiropractic treatment can be the answer to your pain, stress, and can help make labor and delivery easier. Following birth, there is a lot of physical stress in the baby’s life. While learning to crawl and walk, children end up falling many times which can take a toll on their young bodies. At Healthy Roots Chiropractic, we pride ourselves on ensuring that every child has a proper functioning nervous system allowing them to go through healthy development. Kids are generally not good communicators about their pain or they may not realize that their discomfort is not normal. Regular chiropractic care can be very helpful for your child because through specific adjustments, the body will be able to communicate properly. Our team understands that children will always have small bruises and bumps as they grow. With that said, we love having the opportunity to offer pediatric care for all children during development. We provide a thorough examination and use a scanning system that allows us to see how the spine and nervous system are functioning. We are going to do all that is needed to help your child and family with their health problems and goals.
