Mom & Me – Easter Bunny Cookie Decorating Class

Saturday, March 16, 10:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. – Everyday Wellness (Downtown Columbia) – Need a FUN mother and child activity? This Mom & Me class is for the beginner cookiers! If you have limited experiences with sugar cookies, found yourself frustrated with royal icing, this is the class for you! We will be decorating a Easter Bunny theme set that tastes amazing and will look even better once you’ve completed your decorating!

EGG-cessible Egg Hunt

Friday, March 22, 6 p.m. – 6:30 p.m. – Leo’s Landing Inclusive Playground (Irmo) – Free. All ages. The event is open to people of all ages with mental and/or physical disabilities. Participants will need to bring their own basket to collect eggs. Pre-registration is also required.

Easter Egg Hunt

Saturday, March 23, 10 a.m. – North Trenholm Baptist Church (Columbia) – Grab your baskets and join us for our annual community-wide Easter Egg Hunt! Stick around for lunch and other treats from some local food trucks. There will be opportunities for kids of all ages to hunt and gather eggs filled with candy. Also, during the month of March we are collecting canned goods for Christian Assistance Bridge, so bring your basket with a canned good item to drop off in the bins as you enter and then refill it with some sweet treats and prizes from the egg hunt!

Saturday, March 23, 10 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. – Riverbend Community Church (Lexington) – We will be hosting an easter egg hunt, games, crafts, and snacks. 

Easter Egg Hunt at Fire Barrel Farm

Saturday, March 23, 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. – Fire Barrel Farm (Swansea) – Registration will begin at 10 the price is $6.00 per child. Each child will receive a Easter basket of their choice and a door prize ticket. Easter activities will start at 10 with dying eggs, pin the tale on the bunny and coloring, we will also have some little white rabbits for sale. We will start lining up at 11 for the egg hunt following the egg hunt the Easter Bunny will hop out of the cottage and will be available for photos, we will have a photo banner that you can have your picture taken with the Easter Bunny so bring your cameras and your phone to get some great photos. We also have picnic tables available if anyone wants to bring a picnic lunch and eat with the Easter Bunny. Please remember to RSVP and you can pre-pay at my email [email protected] this will guaranteed a spot this and help coordinate the event so we have everything available for each child.

Ride the train through the countryside of Fairfield County to meet the Easter Bunny at our Greenbriar event area. There will be games, crafts, a visit with the Easter Bunny and more. Lent & Easter Event

Sunday, March 24, 3 p.m. – Shandon United Methodist Church (Downtown Columbia) – Families with children ages infant through 5th grade are invited to join us in the gym for a Lent and Easter event, which includes a live donkey, cookie decorating, crafts, packing Blessing bags for the homeless ending with an Easter egg hunt. An adult must accompany children. Advance registration will be required, and we ask that families donate one dozen treat-filled eggs per child participating. 

Toddler & Special Friends Egg Hunt

Tuesday, March 26, 6 p.m. – 7 p.m. – Crooked Creek Park (Chapin) – $3 per child advance; $5 per child day of event. Children ages 12 and under with physical or cognitive challenges can enjoy a low-key sensory-friendly egg hunt. Children will hunt for age-appropriate treats and candy filled eggs on their fields. Pre-register here.

Flashlight Egg Hunt

Thursday, March 28, 7 p.m. – 8 p.m. – Melvin Park (Chapin) – $3 per child in advance/$5 per child the day of. Ages 1-12. It’s time for our Annual Flashlight Egg Hunt. This year there will be more than 10,000 eggs to find! Bring your flashlight and basket. This event will be held rain or shine. Register here

Saturday, March 30, 11 a.m. – 4 p.m. – Modern Companion (Chapin) – The managers have noticed a small bunny hopping around our store lately. They think he’s been hiding eggs! Join us at our Easter Egg Hunt to help us find them. There are eggs hidden all over the store with prizes ranging from delicious treats to even more delicious discounts. Bring your pet in to sniff one out for you! Each customer will be limited to one egg to keep things fair but stick around for a backdrop perfect for festive pictures.
