Where to See Santa Around Columbia

The 2020 holiday season is upon us! While things are a little different this year, there’s still holiday cheer all around.

Now, no holiday season is complete without a visit to the man in red! Below is a list of places you’ll be able to find Santa Claus around Columbia this holiday season!

A Holiday to Remember

Date: November 20-22, 2020

Time: Friday, 3 p.m.- 8 p.m., Saturday 9 a.m-5 p.m., Sunday 12-5 p.m.

Details: For $5 visit and take your own picture with Santa with safety precautions in place (Credit Cards Only Please, No Cash will be Accepted)

This is a socially distanced event that is part of the Vista Lights. Event includes holiday market, concessions, biergarten, and photos with Santa. There will also be a Kids’ Zone, performance stage, and opportunity to take Christmas Tree family photos.

  • Masks or face coverings are required for all attendees to enter and for the duration of the event, except while actively eating or drinking, and for those 10 years of age or less.
  • All spaces will be cleaned in accordance with CDC recommendations.
  • All setups will be done to allow for at least 6 ft. of distance between booths, lines and seating.
  • To allow for a mask-free Santa photo, there will be a piece of plexiglass in between Santa and the children for ultimate safety. This thin, clear piece of glass will barely be visible from the front for the perfect holiday photo op.
  • Temperature checks provided by Molina Healthcare are required for everyone each day upon entry into the facility. No one with a temperature of 100.4 degrees or higher will be permitted to enter.

10th Annual Silver Bells Art and Crafts Show

Date: November 22, 2020

Time: Sunday, 12-4 p.m.

Location: 30 Artillery Drive, Sumter 29154

Details: Local artisans and vendor craft show.

Pictures with Santa on Sunday 12 PM – 4 PM. Families may purchase 5 x 7 size picture for $5 (by Tiffany Davis Photography).


In-Person Photos with Santa at Columbiana Centre

Date: November 27–December 24, 2020

Time: Varies – All guests are strongly encouraged to make advanced reservations and appointments to visit Santa Claus. Walk-in guests will be accepted on a space-available basis

Location: Columbiana Centre, 100 Columbiana Circle, Columbia 29212

Details: Prices vary depending on the photo package you choose. All Guests 2 and older are required to wear face coverings. To ensure the health and well-being of guests and Santa, guests will not sit on Santa’s lap during their interaction, but will still have the opportunity to engage in conversation and a magical experience with Santa, while maintaining physical distance. Here are the Safety Measures in place.


Bagels with Santa!

Date: December 21, 2020

Time: 10:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.

Location: Bruegger’s Bagels Irmo, 945 C Lake Murray Blvd

Details: Stop by and grab bagels for breakfast, and while you’re there meet Santa and Mrs. Claus! Parents are welcome to take pictures of the little ones with Santa.


Train Rides with Santa-SC Railroad

Dates: TBD

Details: Per their latest Facebook post, they will have info on their social distance Santa train rides soon. Check their page for updates.


Virtual Visits with Santa

Date: Now-January 7, 2021

Photo Sessions with Santa

Many local photographers and Santa’s are also offering individual photo sessions with Santa. Check with your local Facebook photographers to see what sessions are being offered.
