Bite of the Week :: Macarons at Ally & Eloise Bakeshop

In my years living in Columbia, I have done an exhaustive search to find the very best French macarons in town. (You’re welcome.) And the winner is, head and shoulders above the rest, Ally & Eloise Bakeshop

Ally’s macarons are absolutely beautiful to behold, feature a wide variety of interesting flavors, and they are honestly as big as your fist. 3 for 3 on amazingness.

The best part? Every Monday is Macaron Monday at Ally & Eloise! That means buy two, get one free macarons and 50 cent coffee all day. (!!!) You can get three gorgeous macarons and a large cup of coffee for $5. Seriously. Is there a better way to brighten up a dreary Monday??

Ally & Eloise still has their original shop space on Forest Drive and a brand-new space in the Arcade building on Main Street that invites you to sit and stay a spell. You can also find their delightful baked goods every Saturday morning at Soda City Market.

Have you tried Ally & Eloise? The macarons? What’s your favorite?
