Columbia Mom EATS :: Lighthouse Café & Stuff

0

Let me tell you, as a working mom of three, one of my FAVORITE things is coffee. As in, coffee is life. Please don’t talk to me until I’ve had my cup of coffee. Coffee time ’til wine time.

With the weather getting warmer, I took a stroll this morning to my local neighborhood coffee shop. There are not many of them in Northeast Columbia, but the Lighthouse Café & Stuff is a true gem. Nestled in the Town Center of Lake Carolina, this coffee shop is a perfect spot to sit and relax or grab a drink to go!

Lighthouse Café & Stuff is a family-owned business and all of their food is homemade. They have a variety of coffees, smoothies, and other drinks. They also have a multitude of various desserts, sandwiches, and other delicious foods. Everything is fresh and on display. The cafe also takes orders for specialty and custom cakes and pies.

If you dine in, there are cozy tables and chairs inside and some outdoor tables as well. The staff is so friendly and brings your order to your table in cute mason jars, cups, and plates. It’s these little details that I love the most. There is a warmth to this place that shows throughout the café.

My tween always asks me if we can go to the café, and since it’s just a quarter-mile from my house, we usually try to get out and walk there. She loves their smoothies and baked goods. My five-year-old got the fruit and yogurt parfait the last time we visited, and needless to say, he loved it.

Lighthouse Café & Stuff is located at 5 Lake Carolina Way, Suite 140, Columbia, SC. They are open Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. – 5 p.m. and on Saturdays from 8 a.m. – 4 p.m.

Follow their Instagram to see their latest creations.
