FREE Earth Day Printables!

To help kids celebrate, here are some fun, free Earth Day printables as well as activities you can do with your children to commemorate the day!

Earth Day is an annual celebration that honors the achievements of the environmental movement and raises awareness of the need to protect Earth’s natural resources for future generations. It is designed to educate and inspire the people of this planet to take a step forward in their efforts to make a difference in the environment.

How It Works

  1. Download and print the Earth Day Coloring Pages
  2. Color and design your favorite(s) any way you like!
  3. Display in your window, on the fridge or anywhere you see fit!

Additional Ways to Celebrate Earth Day

  • Go on a scavenger hunt. Look for different outdoor items. While you complete your hunt, pick up any litter you find.
  • Plant a tree, flower, or plant. Your kids will enjoy watching it grow.
  • Make a bird feeder out of recycled materials. You can use plastic bottles, oranges, empty cartons, or even toilet paper rolls.
  • Teach your kids to recycle and explain how it helps our environment. Show them how to sort trash and the different recyclable items.
  • Read or watch The Lorax with your kids.

Tiffany Nettles
Tiffany traded in back-to-back business meetings and PowerPoint presentations, for sippy cups and play dates – leaving her corporate job behind to become a stay at home mom to her 16-month-old toddler. To say life is different is an understatement, and she now has a new found love and respect for the “hardest” (and best!) job she’s ever had. A native South Carolinian, Tiffany is best described as kind-hearted and friendly, with a quick sense of humor. When she’s not toting her little one around town to the latest kid friendly activity, you can find her enjoying a latte at Drip, catching up on the latest celebrity gossip magazines, or watching old reruns of Beverly Hills 90210 from the early 90′s. She received her Masters Degree in Integrated Communications from the University of South Carolina in 2007, and enjoys reading, writing and all things "mom."
